Habitat: Soil characteristics: Corolla-Duckston sands, gently undulating, flooded (3) - moderately well drained and somewhat poorly drained soils formed in sandy sediments. Described as being a component of the Salt Marsh Ecological Community. Associate plant species: Stellaria media, Youngia japonica, Lolium multiflorum, Sorghum halepense, Bromus catharticus var. catharticus, Richardia brasiliensis, Sida rhombifolia, Vicia ludoviciana ssp. ludoviciana, Kyllinga brevifolia, Desmazeria rigida, Conradina canescens, Rumex hastatulus, Allium canadense var. mobilense. Rare.
