Locality:
USA, Texas, Brewster, Black Gap, FM 2627, ca 18.5 mi SE of Hwy 385 on slopes mainly of west side of road.
Habitat:
Roadside.
Substrate:
Crumbly, limestone overlaid with igneous gravel, cobble.
Description:
Abundant, pink-flowered perennial with onion odor, literally covering 2 to several acres.
Notes:
Originally identified as Allium kunthii.
