Locality: United States, California, San Bernardino, Mojave Desert, Mojave River at the narrows between Victorville and Oro Grande, ca. 2.5 mi. W of Hwy I-15 on the National Trails Highway at the bridge over the river. Near 346 34' N, 117° 18' W. Alt 2600 ft.
Elevation: 792 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 2600 ft
Habitat: Riparian forest with Populus fremontii, Salix laevigata, Typha, Baccharis, Scirpus, etc between granitic bluffs beside the shallow river.
