A railroad (currently used andmaintained), runs almost the entire length. Within 20m on either side of the tracks is almost all herbaceous (weedy but diverse). Further from tracks there are many tamarack trees and shrubs including some autumn olive. 10m east of railroad directly west of power line pole. Ground moist but not wet. Very shrubby, dominated by Rhamnaceae, Salix, with Cornus saplings. Carex stipata and possibly Carex stricta clumps in some parts.
Population - Several single leaves emerging from ground. Do not see a larger one. No fruits/flowers.
