Elevation: 247 meters (810ft)
Habitat: Small fen dominated by Carex. Several shrub zones of Cornus and a large wooded zone of Tamarack, Cornus, and poplur. Autumn olive encroaching on edges and some within fen on northern side. Nirdlingers maintain surrounding prairie. Homeowner to north manacures land in the lawn fashion to the edge of his property. 80m south of wooded section in northern center part of fen. Typha stand 50m north. 150m east of western border, center on the north-south axis of fen. Carex meadow with ferns and a few Asteraceae. Ground hummocky and uneven with moist soils.
Description: Population - Only vegetation seen, no stes/fruiting stems left, fairly common. 1-2 per 1m2. Grows on edge or between tussocks.
