Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. High quality Cyperaceae and Poaceae area with Carex sterilis, C. leptalea, Schoenoplectus pungens, Rhyncospora capillacea, Andropogon gerardii, Glyceria striata, and Muhlenbergia glomerata. Other common species include Rudbeckia fulgida, Dasiphora fruticosa, and Solidago ohioensis. Ground very hummocky with small hummocks. Located in large open fen.
