Elevation: 276 meters (905ft)
Habitat: Lake side prairie fen. Mostly Cyperaceae, Cornus, and button bush dominated marl zone with some Asteraceae and Dasiphora fruticosa near the wooded borders. Invaded by Phragmites, Phalaris arundinacea, and Frangula alnus. In large southern section of fen, in east-central portion, 2m west of wooded upland border, 10m south of some 5m tall red cedar trees in fen. Area dominated by Dasiphora fruticosa, Andropogon gerardii, and Cladium mariscoides. Some asters (Verbensina alternifolia) common. Ground level and moist.
Description: Population - Isolated. Not common, 1 for 5m2 on dry soil with Dasiphora fruticosa and Andronpogon gerardii. Not flowering or fruiting.
