Very shrubby lakeside fen. Mostly sedge meadow and wooded fen. Dominant vegetation includes Carex stricta, C. hystericina, Rosa, Frangula alnus, Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, and Symphylotrichum firmum. Invaded by Phalaris arundinacea, Frangula alnus, and Rosa multiflora. Some boggy areas in the northeast. Drosera rotundifolia were found on Sphagnum hummocks in wooded fen. In southern section, ATV or truck activity, in open sedge meadow. Possible hunting site. In southern sedge meadow part of fen, 400m north of southern border, 200m west of Riker Lake. Area dominated by Carex, Thelypteris palustris, and Asteraceae with moderately dense shrubs of Cornus, Rhamnus alnifolia, Frangula alnus, and Toxicodendron vernix. Ground hummocky and puddling in footsteps.
