Habitat is a secondary forest patch at the early successional stage, dominated by many exotic species. Many native species can be found. The habitat is near by the stone river and is associated with many anthropogenic activities and some species are planted by man.
Dominated by exotic species such as Lonicera japonoca, Ligustrum sinense and many natives present Ex. Juniperus virginiana, Acer saccharum, Acer negundo, Smilax bona- nox, Vitis vulpina, Celtis lavigata, Celtis occidentalis, Rhus glabra, Parthenocissus quenquefolia.
Tree with a long cylindrical trunk. Bark is grey in color and fissured and with scaly ridges. Leaves simple, palmately lobed with toothed margins. Fruit is a spiny ball of many capsules.
