Locality: Haiti, Sud, Haiti: Dept.: Sud. Massif de la Hotte, Camp Perrin. Hill with Plagiodontia colony ca. 0.25 miles from FSM-rented house across river. Disturbed forest with Bursera, Simarouba, Comocladia, Exothea, Plumeria, Chrysophyllum, and Psychotria. Alt. 200-300 m. Occasional small tree to 5 m tall. Flowers greenish. Fruits olive-brown.
