Corolla lobes < 2.0 mm long. Corolla 5-lobed, ~2.0 mm across; style 1; ovary inferior, pubescent; stamen 3. Lower leaves oblong, emarginate, entire or remotely toothed; upper stem leaves basally toothed; margin and abaxial midrib scabrous. Stems 6-angled. Shallow rooted annual, to about 40-45 cm tall.
