Petals reddish-pink, strongly reflexed; corona pale pink; stamens green; stigmas white; stems to ca. 1 meter tall, unbranched except in inflorescence; plants common in wet areas. Photographed. Specimen GPS: 36.504112, -104.940498.
Seeps and wet depressions on side of hill, with Juncus spp., Eleocharis macrostachya, Asclepias incarnata, Schoenoplectus spp., and Typha domingensis.
