Habitat: mosit bank just above wet "quick-sandy" ditch
Associated Species: Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Verbena brasiliensis, Rubus cuneifolius, Cassia fasciculata, and Lolium perenne.
Description: Forming a dense row ca. 25-30 ft. long. Past anthesis. Frs. with white lateral ribs forming corky bands (grossly evident). Dorsal and intermediate ribs light green, contrasting with darker olive-gray intervals. Herbage mainly light green, straw-colored toward base.
