Locality: Mexico, Baja California Sur, 9.3 miles (by road) south-southwest of La Paz on road to Todos Santos.
Habitat: Thorn Scrub (thorn forest) essentially level terrain, a sandy loam apparantly, a granite soil, not riparian nor floodplain conditions. Rock-free.
Notes: Dups sent to: SD; Shrub 2-4 ft, one of the most abundant plants in understory. Purple campanulate flowers.
