Open eroding sandstone slope below cliff, SW-facing. Poa compressa-dominant (Schizachyrium scoparium dominant lower down nearer house), with Asclepias verticillata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Danthonia spicata, Juniperus virginiana-scattered, Lepidium densiflorum, Lithospermum incisum-rare, Prunus serotina-scattered saplings, and Symphyotrichum oblongifolium-the most I've ever seen anywhere. Occasional. Must have been a nice prairie once, now thoroughly invaded by Coronilla varia and beyond management help.
