Habitat:
"Goat prairie" on steep(35%) SW slope. Steep slopes on sandy loam soils. Dominated by Sporobolis heterolepis, Andropogon geradii, Corylus americana, Rhus glabra, Aster laevis, Aster sericeus, Dalea purpurea, Bouteloua curtipendula, Solidago speciousa, and Solidago rigida.
