Locality: United States, Mississippi, Hinds, MISSISSIPPI. Hinds Co.: Jackson Quad, TR006N001E, Sec. 36, channel just north of Lowhead Dam.
Habitat: Sandy channel slope, on moist sands next to Pearl River.
Notes: Medium sized herb (0.8 m) tall, minute yellow flowers, with corolla like a ring; locally common. Collected for the Herbarium of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science for the 'Natural Heritage Program Field Survey'.
