Locality: United States, Arkansas, Cleburne, C. 5 mi. nw. of Greer's Ferry. T12N R12W S35 SE4. Take 1st gravel rd. to left going s. of Hwy. 16 from Van Buren cty. line; go ca. ½ mi. to large field; e. side of gravel rd.

Habitat: Large overgrazed field.

Associated Species: Anthemis, Datura, Gnaphalium

Description: Fl. green, stem pinkish, spiny.

Notes: Not seen often in the county.
