United States, Texas, Pecos, SE side of Diamond Y draw ca. 50-200 ft SW of its crossing of St. Rt. 18 N of Ft. Stockton. Diamond Y Spring Preserve (TNC). Diamond Y Spring Quadrangle.
Locally common in moderately alkaline, presumably somewhat saline silt loam (Balmorhea association) on higher alluvial flat, in areas mechanically disturbed during assault on Tamarix.
