Fen on county and private land and managed by The Nature Conservancy. Grand River travels through center of fen (4m wide). Near river area dominated by Cyperaceae, Typha, and Dasiphora fruticosa; shrubs of Rubus and Cornus near woodland upland edges. In open fen, central east west, south of Grand River 25m, house is 200-250m to the southwest. Area dominated by Cyperaceae and Dasiphora fruticosa with Cornus and Frangula alnus shrubs every 4m2, saplings every 1m2. Ground hummocky and wet to moist.
