Locality:
United States, Virginia, Augusta, George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. Ca. 1.7 km NE of the junction of Routes 666 and 608, 0.1 N of a pipeline and telephone line, 2.5 km ENE of Lofton.
Habitat:
Locally common in a zone of Eleocharis acicularis and Sphagnum on the upper, drier, SW edge of a seasonally wet sinkhole pond. Elev. 573 m (1880 ft.).
